Välja rätt stabiliseringsgrad
Aktivortoserna finns i flera utföranden beroende på hur mycket stöd knäet behöver. Vid lättare besvär eller som förebyggande skydd vid träning räcker ofta en modell med enklare kompression och pelott, medan knän med instabilitet eller efter skada kan behöva versioner med inbyggda stag eller extra stabiliserande band runt leden. Rådgör gärna med sjukgymnast eller ortoped om du är osäker på vilken nivå som passar din situation.
Rätt storlek är avgörande för att pelotten ska sitta korrekt runt knäskålen och ge avsedd tryckavlastning. Mät omkretsen några centimeter ovanför och nedanför knäet och jämför med tillverkarens storlekstabell innan köp.
